DocScout collects and uses limited personally identifiable information (PII) solely to support system access, functionality, and support.
Information We Collect
DocScout collects the following information from registered users:
- Name
- Email address
- Organizational affiliation
No information about members of the general public is collected.
How Information Is Used
Collected information is used only for the following purposes:
- User authentication and access management
- Determining applicable organizational policies during document inspections
- System administration and support communications (e.g., account activation, password reset, and support requests)
Document Handling
Draft solicitation and contract documents uploaded for inspection may contain sensitive information. These documents are processed in memory for analysis and are not stored or retained by DocScout. Uploaded documents are discarded immediately after inspection and prior to report generation.
Information Sharing
DocScout does not sell, rent, or share user information for commercial purposes. Limited information (such as email address and message content) may be transmitted to an external email service solely for account-related or support communications.
Data Retention
User account information is retained only for the duration of the user’s account and is removed or disabled upon request. Inspection reports are retained according to system operational needs.
Security
DocScout employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information processed by the system.
